Aviator is currently being used in North & Central America, Asia, Africa, Middle East, Australia and the South Pacific. Our customers range from small full service international carriers to medium sized low cost and regional carriers. Each carrier has its own unique commercial environment and the only constant is the amount of change!

Each customer uses Aviator in a slightly different way.

Traditional carriers

Our established international carriers continue to use the traditional market segmentation approach with Saturday night stop over rules and advanced purchase fares on some routes. On other routes they have changed to using point to point fares in conjunction with Aviator’s New Generation Airline (NGA) optimiser and compete favourably with low cost carriers. These airlines really appreciate the flexibility provided by Aviator to use different optimisation routines on different flights.

Impressive productivity gains

For another one of our customers, a regional carrier operating over 1,100 segments a week, the productivity provided by Aviator is paramount. Having a small team of analysts, Aviator is set up to optimise most flights automatically.

After using Aviator’s NGA optimiser for nine months, they announced that for the last 6 months of that period passenger numbers had increased by 11%, revenue had increased by 18% and net profit had increased by over 240%. It is expected that annual net profit as a percentage of revenue will be in double figures.

CRS data

Our customers use a variety of hosted reservations systems which provide data on a regular basis. The data is translated and imported into the Aviator database for each specific customer.
